2007 Lombard Elite Prize recognizes Panini’s excellence
To Milano Finanza, Lombard and PricewaterhouseCoopers "Panini represents an example of excellence that can support the external growth of the Italian national productive system". Due to its excellence, Panini was given the prize Lombard-elite 2007, assigned to six leaders and to six Italian companies. The competition's originality consisted in not only recognising the companies' performances but also their impact on the Italian system.
 The jury gave the Milano Finanza Company Award to Panini because the group is a world leader in its sector and the fourth biggest publisher for children and young adults in Europe. As it distributes mainly abroad, where it develops 95% of its yearly turnover, the prize jury awarded Panini for its contribution to the appreciation of Made in Italy throughout the world.
